Vancouver police are looking for the person they believe may have caused $1 million in damages to the tower residences of one of the city's most prestigious hotels.

Crime Stoppers says the woman is believed to have turned on a fire hose in the stairwell of the Rosewood Hotel Georgia tower residences, causing water damage to several suites.

Police said the incident happened on Sept. 30, but have not released any further information.  However, police say that could change if they continue to be unable to identify her.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia management refused to comment on the incident.
