image

Celebrate the history and heritage of the classic British Pub in November during Fuller’s British Pub Month. Often a social gathering point for entire communities, Britain’s famous pubs were instrumental in the creation of some of the most iconic beer styles: Pale Ale, ESB, and Porter. No matter where you live in the world, raise a pint of Fuller’s in celebration.

Show your appreciation for British Pubs by unlocking this brand new badge from our mates at Fullers. Check-in to any beer from Fuller’s during the month of November and the “Fuller’s British Pub Month (2017)” badge is all yours. You don’t have to be at a pub to unlock this badge, you can experience that pint of Fuller’s anywhere!

In addition to unlocking a brand new badge, your check-in to any Fuller’s beer during the month of November will earn you a chance to win a trip for two to London for a classic British pub crawl. After your check-in you will receive an entry code that can be used here to be entered into the drawing. This contest is open to US residents (with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska) only.

Golden Road Melon Cart

Anyone who has spent time in Los Angeles is familiar with three things – beautiful weather, vibrant culture, and the brightly colored umbrella on a street corner that lets you know you’ve stumbled upon something special… one of LA’s famous fruit carts! They serve up a variety of fresh fruits to enjoy when you’re on the run and looking for a tasty treat.

Taking inspiration from these iconic fruit vendors of Los Angeles, Golden Road Brewing has released its second brew in a series dedicated to these vendors, Melon Cart – a light, refreshing wheat ale that’s bursting with watermelon, honeydew, and cantaloupe flavors. To unlock the “Melon Cart” badge, simply check in Golden Road Melon Cart between 10/26/17 – 11/26/17.

For more information about Golden Road, you can find them online at goldenroad.la. Be sure to keep in touch with them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest!

Not sure if a day trip to Giethoorn from Amsterdam is worth the effort. You'll spend 4-5 hours on the road going out and back. I would only recommend this if you see this as an opportunity to enjoy the countryside from the window of a bus or train. Otherwise I would recommend visiting a nice village closer to Amsterdam, such as Marken, Volendam, Enkhuizen, Muiden of Delft. Not as special as Giethoorn, I have to admit, but much less of a hassle.

The journey to this lovely village is nearly 85 miles from Amsterdam.

I was driving and it took us nearly 1:30 min to reach this heavenly village.

A visit to this village is a must for the tourist to Neatherland. If possible one must spend a night or 2 in this village. The beauty is breath taking and hats off to the people who made such a place for human habitants. The ones who are reciding in this village have been very fortunate.

The calm and peace from the hussy life is what a human wants and this place is just perfect for destressing from the busy day one gose through this days.

Enjoy and surely sit at one of the pizzeria with a cigar and a bottle of winen, located in the middle of the village.
